Mutants and Cool Vehicles?
Does this one have mutants and cool trucks/cars? I love post-apocalypse movies but only if they have cool mutants like Humongous, is he in this one too?

shareNo, the film is set too soon after the war to have any mutants, barbarians etc. It's the polar opposite of Mad Max. What we get is a small town where ordinary people are running out of food and other necessities, radiation is killing everyone and no one knows if there will be any future. You won't see any car-chases or blood-thirsty savagery in this film. As time goes on we see mass graves, abandoned cars, and litter-strewn empty streets. Quite depressing, really.

No this was a realistic idea of what it could be like. When it first aired it scared the hell out of me because it could have happend at any time!
Even while you were watching the movie.
Try the 1977 movie Damnation Alley.
shareEnlighten me, please. When you see news footage of people suffering through natural disasters, wide spread illness do you find it boring because no one turned into mutants? What about your own friends/family when they get sick or suffer? Are you unhappy they are not mutants? Just because this is a movie is no excuse for you to not feel for those unfortunate characters in this movie.
This was a movie that had to do with something that might happen in real life, not fantasy.
