I always wondered why the mean Superman had to do that u know. Any good theories?

shareWell yea but it seems like it was a purpose for it u know. Then u see Superman shut his eyes with relief. It's a very telling scene.
shareMean Drunk Superman is the side of his personality that resents having to be Clark Kent. Now that he's destroyed Clark (or so he thinks), Mean Drunk Superman no longer has to put on the glasses and "become" Clark ever again. He can crush them, toss it away like a coke can, it's just useless garbage to him now, and he's savoring the moment.
shareWow such an awesome theory! I do like watching Supernan & Clark Kent fight a lot. It's so original u know. I remember a scene when after Superman bounce out of the acid pool to deflect the smoke on Clark Kent & then starts mocking at him about Clark getting on his nerves is so so cool.
