Stockholm Syndrome at its best!

Sidenote before I post this: I searched IMDb and the Internet and could only find instructions for how to hide spoilers from this website: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/archive/t-304204.html

I haven't had to hide stuff for a while and IMDb used to have the instructions but if you search for 'spoilers' in the help section, you'll find no such entry for how to do it! Anyway...

I love how the gunner lets Peter take over his seat. Peter learns from Hawk how to target and fire. Peter becomes a natural at shooting and repeats the phrase, "Goddamn rocks!"

THEN he is offered some beer AND takes a drink! Stellar!!!

Later in the film, Peter has control of the guns in another ship and destroys the 'destroyer' ship... UNKNOWINGLY KILLING HIS OWN FATHER!!!!!

He's later dropped off on his home world, to walk away into the horizon as the credits roll, happy to have had the adventures, but sad to leave Hawk... and still clueless to the fact that he MURDERED his own father!


It's quite possible I may never follow up with anything I post.
