What do you think eventually happened to Sosa?

Do you think that Sosa and the rest of his partners/associates would have eventually gotten caught up by the American government/CIA? Would they have been killed or captured and sent to federal prison? Keep in mind that the reporter that Tony failed to kill like he was ordered to ended up doing the interview on television. So Sosa and his associates now had a target on their back.

He was eventually elected Governor of New York State but we had to fire him for being too flirty and murderous around the office, true story

Actually he helped found The Trump Family Crime Foundation.

He found someone else to make the hit on that journalist. And as a result, he lived on to continue selling his product and living the life. Plus, I don't think Sosa was the type that would 'get high on his own supply'. He followed Frank's rules. lol...

This film is a work of fiction. Sosa is a made up character. Nothing was ever filmed or discussed what became of Sosa afterwards

The guy was able to make the speech at the UN. Sosa's days in the business were numbered.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

I always wonder why criminals don't have a retirement plan in place. At the time the words focus was on Columbia, so Sosa could have stayed below radar had he kept his operation smaller. Over the years he could have invested his drug money into some legitimate enterprises and at a certain point pick a protégée to take over his drug empire as he retires with about 100 million dollars and businesses that bring in about ten million per year. Once the journalist started chatting about him he could have taken that as his cue to step aside for a younger drug leader and enjoyed his retirement while showing reporters his legitimate businesses.

I realize this is probably unrealistic as it would be hard to step away from such wealth and power, but it baffles me that some don't consider this.
