He is just a sleazy unlikable annoying criminal with no redeeming quality i never understood why people love his character so much and find him so badass

He does in fact have redeeming qualities. He cares about hurting others weaker and less capable than him. Take the women and her babies in the car. Those other scumbags would've killed them in a heartbeat w/ no reservations. We also find his soft spot/vulnerability with Elvira..All he want is a good wife, and a family.

shareYeah, you have a point as well, BC without Manny he would've been done in by the Colombians in that motel room. Manny saved his live., but to be fair he also told Manny "hands off". Those were boundaries the Manny knew not to cross...ever! He warned Manny in the beginning.
He probably would've done himself in anyway, overcome with grief and guilt, if Gina hadn't done it first had he survived the ambush.
Tony didn't know Manny married his sister, it was only after when he realized. Manny didn't want Elvira involved with people like him because he put her up in a pedestal as this pure innocent person that must be kept away from corruption. He knew Manny was a ladies' man and assumed Manny took advantage of his baby sister. In a mindless fit of rage, he shot Manny, it was only after whne he realized what he had done. So clearly killing Manny was a big problem for him but at that moment he shot on pure instinctive rage, no thought whatsoever.
