Al Pacino Invented The Term "Yeyo"?

IMDB says that Pacino came up with "yeyo" while ad libbing during filming? Does anyone know if this is true?

I know "yeyo" is used in Debbie Harry's song "Rush Rush." When were those lyrics written (the song was produced by Giorgio Moroder - he also produced "Call Me" from "American Gigolo.")

The book by Paul Monette (based on Oliver Stone's screenplay) uses "yeyo" in it.

Pacino did not invent the term "yeyo".

IMDB says that he simply chose to ad-lib that line into the movie. It was not written in the script.

Iello (or Hiello)in Spanish means ice, so it could be slang for any expensive drug.
