Living in Excess

That's the impression I got from watching this cult film tonight. Tony Montana enjoys a plushy lifestyle with an opulent mansion, fancy cars, huge stacks of cash and mountains of cocaine. He bragged about earning it, but he did so with crime, not honesty. I just wonder where his conscious was?

Tony had no conscience...plus a hot temper, and drive to take whatever he wanted. The only time Tony even showed a flicker of remorse was when he killed Manny, and lamented the demise of his sister. Aside from that, it didn't bother Tony one bit to stamp anyone.

He did have some conscience in refusing to blow up the car in New York with the wife and children in it.
