What do you think happened to Elvira?

What do you think happened to Elvira after she left? Do you think she went somewhere safely to be with different people, or the same or maybe she was just done and lived a normal life? lol or maybe she ODs? I always wondered. I know along time ago someone wrote a sequel in a book and she had twins

She found some pimps, lowlifes, druggies and bikers in L.A. In a few months, they went through all the money and all the jewels. In the end, all she had left was 3,600 in mint condition coins.

Oh wait, that was another movie. Though I imagine that a similar ending befell Elvira. With no marketable skills (that we see anyway), an expensive coke habit and no friends outside of Frank and Tony's circles where else would she go?

That said, she never divorced Frank, so when he died you would think she would inherit at least some of his assets. This would make potentially make he independently wealthy, so maybe she did do okay.

She was NOT married to Frank Lopez, and she did marry Tony.

There is a house in New Orleans...

In the case of 2 month old Alisha, Brian, YOU ARE THE FATHER

reply

I agree, she would have moved onto the next man to fund her lifestyle

reply

Same here. I figure she had maybe a couple of years left before all that coke really took a toll on her looks. But she would have found herself a new sugar-daddy by then...

Michelle Pfeiffer was never remotely attractive to begin with. I can't believe she was ever considered much of anything.. Same thing with Cameron Diaz..

reply

It's not that Michelle Pfeiffer (or Cameron Diaz) is that attractive. It's that they're the kind of blondes regular guys like me could at least have a shot at. But we would never have even a shot to be with a Farrah Fawcett or a Morgan Fairchild back in their heyday...completely out of our league (if we don't have money). :)

reply

You're crazy. Michelle Pfeiffer is one of the most beautiful Hollywood stars ever, and at least as unobtainable as Farrah Fawcett and Morgan Fair in their prime.

Perhaps you're right about Cameron Diaz, at least nowadays, but circa The Mask she was the leggy 5'9" model with the pushup bra who was out of everyone's league.

reply

To each their own.

During the 1990s, Pfeiffer attracted comment in the media for her beauty. In 1990, she appeared on the cover of People magazine's first 50 Most Beautiful People In The World issue. She was again featured on the cover of the annual issue in 1999, having made the "Most Beautiful" list a record six times during the decade (1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1996, 1999). Pfeiffer is the first celebrity to have appeared on the cover of the annual issue twice, and the only person to be featured on the cover twice during the 1990s.

Meanwhile, Cameron was listed the #4 hottest actress as recently as 2011, by Maxim...

Personally, I'm a sucker for blondes and asians and a (female) co-worker once called me racist because I didn't think Rihanna was the prettiest singer ever. Yes, she's beautiful too, just not my type, just like Pfeiffer and Diaz aren't your type.

reply

Wasn't she born rich?

Tony kept mocking her for being a WASP (i.e. someone from a privileged, white-bread world)?

reply

Elvira would simply have latched onto the next crime boss that crossed her path, just as she had moved from Frank Lopez to Tony. She was a very attractive women, she would not be alone for long.

You can't palm off a second-rater on me. You gotta remember I was in the pink!

reply

Two possibilities: Either she found another rich-ass guy to finance her vices, or she left that life forever. I like to think that the dinner scene is a turning point for her. As Tony realises his fortune and work served only to "that" (Drugs, expensive dinners, fine clothes and cigars), Elvira realised that all "that" was trash as well.

While Tony remained in the life, she got up and left it.

Rhaegar fought valiantly, Rhaegar fought nobly, Rhaegar fought honorably. And Rhaegar died.

reply

It seemed more like she was probably done with that lifestyle after that moment. She probably left it all behind and became a Jesus freak, married a normal guy and had a few kids lol

I like to think the same. Especially after her line, "Tony look what we're becoming" or something of that nature.

She moved back home to Baltimore. (lol)

On the basis of that scene in the restaurant where Tony becomes blind drunk, it seemed to me that she--like Tony for that matter--had become disillusioned with the opulent lifestyle they had. Moreover, she even started to believe that Tony was actually right--she was indeed a junkie. ("Can't you see Tony ... we're not winners anymore... we're losers.")

I guess she realized that wealth and high living (no pun intended) wasn't all that it was cracked up to be.

And hooked up with Stringer Bell.

reply

She skipped town!!!. And went back to Sun rays hotel where she worked as a receptionist for many years... On breaks she would lie in the bathtub that Angel was killed in contemplating life on how hers and Tony's marriage could of been different or weather she should of even left Lopez:p

reply

She kicked her drug habit & became Catwoman

Back in 1983 they put a novel to go along with the movie.
Then in the 21st century they put out a 2 part books that were different than the 1983 book. But in the 1983 book Elvira was a fashion model and that's how she met Frank. Elvira and Tony's sister were friends too.
