Pacino comes off gay

Is it just me or does anyone else think Pacino 's portrayal comes off very gay. Seriously, if I saw that guy on the street, I would definitely think he loved the boys.

Those Latin displays of male friendship make you nervous, do they?

"Why have you lived? Why have you suffered? Is it all some huge, awful joke?"

reply

Never thought about it, but that's not what seemed gay to me. It was his mannerisms and speech.

reply

Well, Al worked with a language expert to get a Cuban accent. I think I read somewhere that a Cuban accent has a lisp, and lisps tend to sound fairyish.

reply

He doesn't seem gay to me. Maybe you actually watched "Cruising"?

reply

Cruising? Never seen it. But I'll check it out and compare the two.

reply

Cruising. Jesus H. One viewing of that is enough for a life time.

reply

LOL. One of the best replies ever.

What is that thing you're using?"..... "It's technical.

reply

No, not at all. And what stupid observation to make. I think he just looks that way to you, and I wonder why....

reply

I don't know why, that's why I posted the question.

reply

Obvious troll is obvious.

reply

Watch the cut scenes from the special edition DVD and then form an opinion.

reply

I don't have access to that version. Can you give me your opinion of it? Thanks.

reply

I would definitely think he loved the boys.
I know he was over-possessive towards his sister but...?

reply

Well, the character of Sosa would agree with the OP. Sosa did tell Tony to never *beep* him.

reply

Now that's what I call taking thinks exceedingly literally.

reply

It was a joke, albeit a bad one, evidently.

reply

...albeit a bad one, evidently.

I know it was. I didn't LOL, but I did give you a quiet chuckle, if that makes you feel any better.

reply

Thanks, lol.

reply

That's the kind of advice that would go over great in a real life formal job interview situation... "I only tell you this once: don't f-ck me, mister. Don't ever try to f-ck me".

reply

Don't mind the other guy. I thought it was very funny. I always wondered how Pacino or the guy playing Sosa could deliver that line with a straight face. XD

reply

So far you are the only one that seems to agree...

reply

So far you are the only one that seems to agree...
May be you've posted to the wrong person. I don't agree.

reply

I always thought he was gay in real life, but that's not acceptable to say.

reply

I never thought about him being gay in real life...maybe, doesn't matter to me either way, but I was surprised by his acting choices for this role. I seriously wasn't trying to be funny, I was just curios if anyone else saw it the same way.

reply

sosa was gay in real life

even ernie did gay porn in real life and died of aids

are u thinkin of those guys???

reply

Hmmm...maybe this contributed to the overall vibe.
