Villain to hero?

This year, I'm reviewing my 31 favorite horror movie sequels every day of October. And of course, I'm including Psycho II. Full review here: http://myvinylmuse.com/horror-sequel-marathon-psycho-ii-1983/

The idea of making the killer of the first film the protagonist of the sequel was bold. But I think it paid off in Psycho II. What's another horror franchise that could benefit from a change in perspective?

I'd definitely be interested in a film from the perspective of Leatherface.

I thought they pulled it off with Hannibal (following The Silence of the Lambs).

Wait a minute... who am I here?

Not a horror franchise, but Apollo Creed from Rocky wins you over after hating him so much in the first film.

Norman's a protagonist, not a hero. The main character of a film doesn't have to be the hero. He simply went from villain to not a villain. Or, if you look at it from a different point of view, he was a victim.
