Yes, but I would avoid the 2005 updated version.
shareIf you enjoy similar movies like The Wanderers and Grease then yeah, check it out. Although, The Outsiders is not a musical/comedy, it's a serious drama.
It's got a great cast, the story is somewhat cliche but well written and whatnot. A good film for an evening at home with not a damn thing to do.

shareI believe there is an extended version of this film. I didn't know there was until I did a recent movie search on my roku device.
It showed two results for this movie, one is 1:31 the other is 2:03. I'm assuming the longer version must be TO: Complete Novel. But it doesn't say this.
