shareWe're the last of a dying breed jdbmjf, I thought this movie kicked the *beep* out of the book - the only movie i can think of that i liked more than the book.
People who say Sam Peckinpah lost it on this movie... don't know what they're on about.

no you are not that last..we are stil out there.. surviving.. just finished this film ... amazing thriller .
shareAbsolutely loved this film when I was younger. It would show up on late night TV a lot back in the early 90's. It definitely has flaws when you break it down and look at its individual parts, but this is a perfect example of the whole being better than its parts as it really was a great film and came out before the 80's action film fest had really gotten into full swing. I honestly couldn't care less what others think about it. The Osterman Weekend remains one of my favorite films from those early 80's years.
Still Shooting With Film!
Not by a long shot. Not the greatest thriller of 1983 even, or probably for the week it was released.

Underrated Peckinpah, but no. Nowhere close.
