Where did you got the image of -older- Connery for the gunbarrel?
The only thing I'd have changed was the title song. Perhaps it was just me, but Mr. Kiss Kiss Bang Bang sounded too dated even for 1983. I'd have used the alternate NSNA theme, instead of the horrible Lani Hall song.
That's a fantastic new opening for this dull film. It really makes it have an impact and manages to suddenly feel like a classic 007 film. Amazing what a little good music can do. It begs the question, why did they get the lousy music for the official release? I will never understand it.
Anyhow, I am fine with the use of Kiss Kiss Bang bang, as well as the visual credits to Thunderball. I mean, as fan editors, you are limited with what you can work with after so many years.
