Originally, during the sequence with Ms. Brinkley and the Ferrari, the Pointer Sisters' "I'm So Excited" was playing. However, in the version that now runs on various cable stations it is a different Pointer Sisters song. Anyone know any details on this?

I hadn't noticed that. I thought you were talking about I'm Mr. Blue while Chevey is driving and sleeping. I wished that song had continued playing all through that scene up until the time he "flew" into the parking lot of the motel. I think it may have been funnier than suddenly switching to the action music.
shareI always heard that "I'm So Excited" was their first pick, but it was too expensive. I didn't know it was ever actually used though.
