I say it as a joke too. The strange thing is that Jack is supposed to be an engineer and no engineer would ever say something like that.

My memory foam pillow says it can't remember my face. I can tell its lying.
So does my father, he loves this movie because it's reminded him of the few times he was laid off in the past. He'll say that line at least a few times per year still. Lol
