The movie poster?

One of the best of all time? I never saw the movie during its theatrical run but that poster with a picture of the Keep burned in my brain and I never forgot it.

Thinking about it, its kind of odd I never saw the movie on TV. Possibly because the movie would have been even more incomprehensible without the exploding corpses and extended sex scenes so it was never cut for tv?
I never saw the movie on Showtime/HBO, ever. Was it on premium tv?

The film played on network t.v. several times in the late 80's and early 90's. The sex scene and some of the more graphic violence was cut, but it featured an extended ending where Eva runs back into the keep to find Glaeken unconscious in the sub-cellar. She revives him to discover he now has brown eyes and has regained his reflection.

It also played on Showtime several times in the early to mid-90's. In fact, the image of Glaeken being sucked into the wall was part of their "You're watching Showtime" promos.

I would love to know who created the poster. It really is a great piece of design.
