Jaws 3-Definitely

I kind of love this movie. Now before you bust out the straight-jacket, I should say I'm well aware of this film's popular regard. I just can't seem to get enough of it lately. There's a lot of discussion on this board about whether the Revenge is worse...and yeah Jaws the Revenge is way worse, just, like, Mario Van Peebles, the accent, ugh. I can't tell if my love of J3D is just Quaid, or the terrible science/acting/writing, but I suspect irony is involved. MVP redeemed himself with New Jack City and is, of course, his brother's keeper.

I'm always fond of this because I saw it in the theater. It was in 3D, at a time when 3D movies were rare, and I was young enough to really be captivated and thrilled by it. Everything from the frog jumping into the audience to the floating arm left an impression on me. Plus, I really like everything about 1982 and 1983. I can overlook the "bad" visual effects when watching on TV in 2D because I know what it was in 3D, and I can get immersed in a story anyway.
