I'm surprised to see that Halloween III is getting posts on this board though. It is one of the greatest movies of all time.
Its the best of the Halloween sequels, for sure.
shareI agree!! I would have loved to have seen where the franchise would have gone had they went with their original plans of making a different, unrelated Halloween movie every year. Alas, we'll never know. The fans all wanted Michael, and Michael is what they got. In spades....
shareI always pretend John Carpenter's later movies would've been part of the anthology series. They Live, Prince of Darkness, even Big Trouble could work as a crazy Halloween movie. But also The Fog, The Thing, Christine, and Escape From New York could've worked had they been set on Halloween. Awesome little mix of genre movies.
shareI also wish they continued with the Myer series, which they did, but along with the anthology series. So like one year we got a new Myers movie in October, then next October we get an anthology movie. That would've been awesome. That would've pleased everyone.
shareGreat idea! Sort of what like Star Wars is doing now. Hard to believe that Paul Rudd starred in a "Halloween" film. A pretty bad one.
