William Hurt inauthentic

Anyone else find William Hurt inauthentic in this role — especially when he spoke?

I thought he was quite believable. I was glad noone spoke with thick Russian accents and even in English many of the actors seemed to get the sometimes stilted flow that Russian has (maybe because Russian doesn't use definite articles).

Hurt must know someone,because he NEVER turns in a decent performance.

I generally like Hurt, however he seems a little awkward here. Maybe that was just the character. Also he doesn’t look Russian at all nor does he have the mannerisms.
