Hi, I dont recall her name off the top of my head> she danced on stage in STREETS OF FIRE. Anyways..I'm gonna post a Lionel Ritchie video from the early 80's I am 90% she is the short, short haired brunette dancing toward the end of the video. Anyone here able to validate my opinion?

and the correct spelling of her name is Marine Jahan (she was 21 at the time of filming). Her other major film appearance was as a dancer in the bar "Torchy's" in the 1984 movie Streets of Fire.

I've heard of many peole being dancers instead of Beals. The actress playing Hanna is one. I've even heard of a guy being one! But yeah, I 'm pretty sure both the French girl and Hanna did. I could be wrong, mind u.

I have heard that Crazy Legs of Rock Steady Crew had doubled for her in the last scene..when "she", i recall, at the time does the back spin. It could probably true since Crazy Legs as well as Frosty Freeze, Ken Swift and Mr. Freeze had done cameos in the movie..during the breakdancing scene in the alley.
Crazy Legs did the double on her backspin, but refused to shave his legs. He also participated in the Breakin scene with Mr. Freeze (With umbrella), Frosty Freeze (Body Slam), Ken Swift (footwork) and Normski (Eletric Boogie/robot).
