With no professional training and already 18, they would have passed. Maybe they would have given her the name of a modern dance company if they were impressed with her dancing but they wouldn't have accepted her as a ballet student.
Also, since the fact that the only reason she got the tryout was because she was sleeping with a ballet patron (who gives money to support the art), that's creepy too!
she was self trained freestyle modern dance =good chance to make the cut, especially if shr got to go to Jacobs Pillow dance classes
