I thought him being the father was common knowledge?
I swear I don't know why but when I was a kid and saw it for the first time, I remember that was my rational for why he felt he had to do what he did in the story.
The same exact seen of Nekron looking on in horror as his powers had no affect on Darkwolf as being the proof.
Glad to know I just didnt make something up, but I thought it was heavily implied he was.
Got to watch it again.

Nekron's powers DO have an effect on Darkwolf, Darkwolf was just able to overcome it. I figured it was due to his willpower. If you've ever played D&D, some characters have higher willpower than others which allows them to resist mind control.

But still I remember somewhere this was actually written in a old magazine or was really mentioned.
