Every time I watch this movie, I immediately wonder how in the hell did that guy get that job? Why is the mall Santa in other words, such an asshole and that woman elf such a bitch? I mean, that isn't exactly a suitable temperament if you're going to knowingly be around little kids.

Well, the last kid to sit on him peed on him, and it's nearing the end of the season so both the Santa and the Elf lady were at the end of their ropes in the tolerance area. Dealing with a bunch of screaming kids throughout the day can get to you after a while.

I feel he was under a lot of stress having to stay past his scheduled shift, I thought the female elf was a mean bitch.
