Roseanne was way hotter than Leigh

I think he blew off Roseanne because she was an easy catch and he could get her anytime he wanted but Leigh showed to be a challenge. He was the competitive jock type, anyway.

Leigh had a pretty face but her clothes-ugh. I guess that was the early 80's huh?

I thought the same thing. I mean, I can see she was a pretty girl, but not any more than the other one that was always saying hello. And Leigh was dressed in what looked like preppy clothes, that were baggy none the less. Nothing slutty about that. I just chocked the comment up to guy/locker-room talk, nothing more. They were just transfixed by the new girl in school.

Frankly I totally understand why Dennis and his pals were going loco for Leigh and blowing off Roseanne. ‘Matter of fact, I don’t blame them! Now perhaps if Roseanne was the new girl herself and not a tease, then Dennis would almost certainly be all over her. (And who says Dennis hadn’t already hooked up with Roseanne? He probably did.)

But here’s the thing: Leigh WAS sexy and out of Dennis’ league. How so? Well, Leigh was a smart gal. And while her “nerdy” clothes don’t scream sexy, as far as Dennis and his friends were concerned she had a great body - she hides it well underneath those clothes- and I imagine showing very little of herself only made her that much more irresistible. ;) Furthermore, apart from having a great physique and brains, in my view Alexandra Paul in Christine did have the more striking features out of the two. I mean, those eyes and lips - perfect! And not for nothing, but she’s a tall girl and there is just something so hot about that. ;}

Roseanne was pure temptation alright, albeit girls like her were not a dime dozen for Dennis. Leigh? She was new game. Don’t get me wrong, Kelly Preston is as hot as it gets! Though I may find Alexandra to be a bit more unique looking, I do think Kelly is ultimately sexier. I first saw Kelly in Twins and in that movie she was just... damn. (Definitely more jaw dropping than Alexandra was in Christine.) At any event, Alexandra Paul was and is by all means a gorgeous woman.

You realize that people have different opinions and likes. In a case of men's attraction to women, a woman immensely attractive (hot) to one guy can leave another guy cold. You're opinion regarding Leigh vs. Roseanne is irrelevant. As is mine.

That's Hollywood casting for you. Ever see Jennifer's body? They've got Amanda seyfried playing the supposedly plain friend in that one.
