This movie spewed chunks. I bought part 2 recently, and although some people hated it I can't believe anyone would like this movie at all. It was very boring like the 1st part. The mystery and scenery of 2 capture all you need to know about this whole stupid series. It was a neat house though. Watch 2 skip 3.
shareI agree with you said about part 2 but I thought the third one was not bad when I saw it in theatres in 3-d. Of course I also enjoyed Jaws 3-D when I saw that the first time and was cringeing when I watched it on DVD.

I like the third movie for what it is: A campy, fun, haunted house flick. They weren't trying to make a disturbing horror movie. It's not what they were going for. If you want gore and genuine suspense, watch part 2, part 1, or even the 2005 remake. If you prefer a horror movie that doesn't take itself seriously--watch Amityville 3-D.
