More Amityville Info for those who want to know more....

The Lutzes claimed to have been followed across the country and the world after fleeing the Amityville house. They documented their story in the novels Amityville 2: The Horror Continues and Amityville 3: The Final Chapter both by John G. Jones. Another novel by Jones was released in the early to mid 1990's called Amityville: The Horror Returns and is also based upon the Lutzes stories of what happened after they fled 112 ocean Avenue Amityville. The Lutzes also collaborated with John G. Jones on the novel Amityville: The Untold Stories which was later re-released as Amityville: The Evil Escapes. This book is a series of short stories based upon what aparently happened to people who bought items the Lutzes owned while living in the house.

Yet another novel has also been released by an author named Robim Karl which claims to be a true story that occured after the Lutzes fled but before the Cromarty's moved in. This book is titled Amityville: The Nightmare Continues and deals with a couple of kids who break into the boarded up Amityville house to steal stuff. One of the boys is never seen again after entering the house. These events cannot be verified though.

Other novels you may be interested in are:

Murder In Amityville by Hanz Holzer. Its a good book, especially if you can get your hands on the movie tie in for Amityville 2: The Possession. This movie tie in features pictures and photos of the house and the crime scenes. It was released in 1982. The original novel was released in 1979. I have both versions.

Another completely fabricated novel based upon the Amityville story is called The Amityville Curse and is also by Hanz Holzer. Its a goos story thats way better than the movie of the same name. The movie isnt about the original Amityville Horror house, but the novel is set in the house.

I have all the books I mention by the way, plus all the films and a number of documentaries, one of which actually has a drive past of the Amityviille Horror house before the windows were changed and before the house numbers were changed.

Star Wars Episode IV.V: The Holiday Special.
