I actually just picked up the set and this movie looks incredible in 3D. They did an excellent job converting to HD and the depth of field is amazing. I saw this theatrically when it was first released and I can honestly say that it has never looked better.

So objects such as the flies, microphone, floating ball, etc pop out at you? I've only seen it in 2-D, and noticed many scenes where objects are supposed to be in your face. Thanks.
This is one of those movies that was designed to exploit 3D. They never pass up any opportunity to wave things into the viewers face. It's actually a lot of fun if you like this style.
