I love Meg Ryan in this movie!

She was pretty gorgeous and sexy.

I thought that she should have hooked up with the demon that came out of the basement well at the end of the movie. If he had just had some Meg lovin', he may have been happier. But perhaps the demon was gay, since he took some guy down into the well with him.

He he he... funny point.

Ah, the days when young, pretty actresses weren't expected to be as skinny as sinewy school boys.

The lion and the calf shall lie down together, but the calf won't get much sleep.

Amen brother. I was 10 when this film came out. Now THESE are the types of girls to swoon over.

That house is not fit to live in. No one's been able to live in it. It doesn't want people.

She looked great in this! She was pretty, but wasn't stick thin and looked like a real girl.

reply

I agree with you, but Meg Ryan seems like an odd example to use. She's pretty darn thin in this movie.

reply

She seemed like she would be a pretty cool person to be friends with in this movie as well. Her character was really fun.

Come, fly the teeth of the wind. Share my wings.

I thought she looked lovely too. But I have to say I thought she was older than 20 here.
Lori Loughlin looked at least 24 too.

"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."

She was really good in her role, but looks-wise I think she would have been better as Susan. She looked like she really could be the daughter of Tess Harper, whereas Lori Loughlin, though gorgeous, didn't look like a child that John and Nancy would have had.

I wonder how it would have been if Meg had played the innocent Susan and Lori had played the more mischievous Lisa.

I know this is an old post, but I believe u are right rika.. Meg Ryan would have been better as Susan.. and reversing the roles would have made more sense..

Thanks! I wonder if the writers were originally planning that and changed it. Glad someone agreed with me.:)
