Well, they did terrorize the priest in Part 1 after he left the house.

Yes, also, in part 2 the priest received phone calls from members of the family that were wiped out days before. Sonny was still under the influence of the house after they removed him from it.
shareI never really understood the elevator scene either. It always struck me as completely unintentional comedy.
sharedid you forget the part where the priest from the first movie tries to get in contact with the lutzes over the phone from his residence?
