that was a very quick 12 seconds

Seriously though, the announcer clearly states there are 12 seconds left when they make the final stop on Alexander.
Salmucci's fumble - even in slow motion, it's barely 12 seconds, yet the announcer then says there's no time left.
It's possible the clock kept running while they were working out which team had recovered the fumble. It's also possible whoever filmed this didn't fully understand how that works - a few minutes earlier, Walnut Height get out of bounds late in the game and yet the clock continues to run. Unless that's me not understanding it - maybe the rules are different at high school level?
I know I'm reading way too much in to this - It would have practically been game over anyway. There'd have only been time for Ampipe to recover a squib kick. But show us that - don't say "no time left" when there must be time left.

Usually in the movies its the other way round.
A 10 second drag race will take 5 minutes and include 20 gear changes : )

LOL. So long since I’ve seen the film I assumed “12 seconds” was about a teen sex scene.
