Scene where they blow up dam
I'm watching the movie on TV right now and I just noticed that the scenes they used showing the dam breaking and the water running down the hills and through the spillways are from the movie 'Earthquake'.
share70s and 80s shows didn't invent reusing scenes from other movies and shows but they sure did it often. The original Battlestar Gallactica also used special effects from other shows. Was hard to do in later series as fans caught on quicker than the show's producers thought they would.
