I think if X-Files had been made in the 80's Faye Grant would have made a really good Dana Scully. She has the beauty, intelligence and proved in V that she's a fine actress.
shareGillian Anderson has no replacement. She is a lot better actress than Faye.

Faye Grant is a far better actress than Gillian Anderson will ever be. Anderson's performance as Scully is one dimensional with potential at times to grow but she never truly does.
Faye Grant all the way!.

Gillian Anderson is Scully! NO ONE ELSE CAN REPLACE HER IN THAT SEMINAL ROLE!

No one is talking about replacing Anderson as Scully. The discussion is about who is best Grant or Anderson. And Grant is far more classy and has a better onscreen presence.
