If an alien invasion were started by intelligent organized aliens, it would happen like this.
This is 30 years old and it is STILL better than Independence Day and the letdown remake V with Morena Baccarin.

Yeah, this one got it right. It's too bad that V The Final Battle and V the TV series weren't nearly as good. It will admit that they (despite their huge flaws)are still very enjoyable. As for the 2009 series... that was just plain awful.

I was in Mexico in 1984 watching this when the alien baby was born. Very freaky.

I liked V the Final Battle too, but the whole glowing star child ending killed it. In my opinion they should have had Elizabeth run to the controls and type in a code to stop the explosion. She could have learned the code by watching Diana (They certainly spent enough time together for that to be plausible).That would have been much more believable that having her glow. Still, it was definitely fun, just childishly flawed.

The alien was freaky. Yes, the last part of The Final Battle seemed to be done as a last minute script edit not well thought out.
