Soundtrack
Has anyone ever seen the soundtrack to this film?
I always loved the music in it. The only songs available seem to be the David Pomeranz tunes.

Hello usinoh, I was also looking for the soundtrack. Are you willing to sell?, Please let me know. Thank you.
shareI have the record album (picked it up thru mail order many many years ago....)
Not willing to give it up though as I am kind of a soundtrack collector.
My point is....it does exist, and I can't imagine it being that hard to find.
Good luck in your search...
What is the name of the song at the beginning of the movie and who sings it? I Know David Pomeranz does a ot of the lovey dovey tunes but I am pretty sure the opening number isnt his.
Thanks!!!

I got a CD copy of the soundtrack from eBay - don't know if it's in print today. Don't know if you can find the one track - the band was "The Keane Brothers" then changed it to Keane around the time this song came out. The Keane Brothers were popular in the late 1970s and released a couple of LPs, the first of which you can get on CD from Amazon I believe. I think the track "Tryin' to Kill A Saturday Night" was from their third LP. You may be able to find Japanese imports. (BTW, the band Keane that is big now in 2005 is not the same band.) Hope that helps.
shareThe Keane Brothers were a great band! I have a few of their albums, but not the one with "Tryin' to Kill a Saturday Night." They wrote a song for Amy Carter, the president's daughter:

Hi Lister,
I just noticed this post is from 2005, so pardon me for assuming you'll even get this, but I just found the vinyl soundtrack also and was wondering if you knew about what this LP should be worth? I don't think they made THAT many copies of it, and I only see 1 or 2 copies of it here on amazon, check it out:

Note - to everyone looking for a soundtrack to "Zapped" - I have it on CD and am ready, willing and able to burn copies - no real copyright infringement since it's LONG out of print and nobody's making any money on it anyway... :)
Feel free to contact me at [email protected]
Thanks
There's a download listed on RapidShare of the entire CD soundtrack. The only catch is that you have to have WinRar to unzip the file, which you can download for a free trial at www.rarlab.com/. Here's the link (scroll down the page and click "free"):

TelevisionJunkie you are a STAR!! I am the original poster of this thread and I just checked back for replies for the first time in months - a complete fluke...That compressed RapidShare file worked a treat and my 20 year wait to hear this soundtrack has finally come to an end. A thousand thanks.
shareNotta problem. After spending nearly 20 years looking for it myself, I got raped buying the LP from a record dealer... then a year later, I got raped again buying the CD as an out-of-print import from the Phillippines. With as damned much money as I sank into that album, happy to point people to a download so they too don't get raped!
shareOh My God!!!!!!! I finally got it a million thanx Television Junkie you are the best. Just like everybody here I've been looking for this SOuntrack forever and now I have it thanx to you. NOw i hate to bug but you would happened to know how to get another very rare CD would you? its The Heavenly Kid Soundtrack its rare too I cant find it a little bit of help please if you can't its ok you've done enough already thank you again.
shareFile has been deleted. Arrrggggh!
I really wanted this soundtrack, because I like the last song played in the movie over the end credits. I don't know the name of the song or the artist, but some of the lyrics are "this time, it's mine" and "Coming to get what you got if you're ready or not".
Can someone tell me what the artist/song title of this song is? I'd really appreciate it. :)

The name of the song you're thinking of is "Ready or Not" by a band called "Plain Jane." Let me know if you still haven't found the soundtrack.
shareThanks for responding, Deputay, but someone was nice enough to hook me up with the .mp3 a while back. :)

Ready Or Not By Plain Jane.
Have no idea where you can find it but I'm a dork so I recorded it on my computer from the VHS and then burned it on CD.
It's almost 30 years old, we need a special DVD/soundtrack Anniversary edition!
I can't believe other people love this movie and it's soundtrack
"Zapped!" has a GREAT soundtrack LP album and I am listening to it in the background as I type this. Get a copy off eBay!

playing the sound track now, its sure a blast from the past.
I remember tapping the movie from the TV onto Betamax and watching it constantly as a kid. The whole family got sick of it but I didn't care.
here is a download link for Zapped soundtrack. all the songs are in mp3 format and you can make a cd from it. you need winrar or a program similar to unstuff the folder, you can get these free online to download by looking them up on google.
