Brilliant movie, forget the book

Okay, so I haven't read the book, but I think this movie is brilliant. It's a thinking person's movie, there are many layers and ironic bits added, Garp hating the Hellen Jamesians and then become mute himself for a while, the them of flying, Jenny describing when she "mounted" the serviceman in the hospital and all he could say was "arp" and then Pooh at the end yells "Arp" because her tougue is cutt off. Tarantara!

It's a brave movie and actually has a plot and characters, unlike todays films.

Read the book!! Not only is the movie brilliant, with messages, layers, and "ironic bits," and very much worth watching (definitely in my Top 10 list of great movies), but the book is [also] a masterpiece. Whichever you experience first (the book, OR the movie (I also saw the movie well before I read the book), they're both worth enjoying more than once or twice!

My beloved Vincent, I would READ a book before actually telling people NOT TO.
