Cool interview! :D

She's right, there really isn't a whole lot of character development for Pooh. She basically is seen spying on Garp and Cushie as kids and teenagers...then she just seems to hate Garp for no reason other than he's a man. Is she jealous of Cushie's attention? Or does she begin hating Garp because he's a man?

Have you read the book? Does Pooh get more character development in the book?

The book has much more development (or at least explanation) of Pooh as a character. In the movie she's portrayed more as a creepy kid and later an Ellen Jamesian, but in the book, her sick fascination with Garp is further explored and explained by the fact that she wrongly believes that Garp has contributed to her sister's early death. She also finds an afficinity with the Ellen Jamesians that she never finds with her own friends/family so is terribly offended when Garp (whom she already hates) crashes his own mother's funeral.
