this is it!
I just purchased a copy of the dvd off of ebay for 7.95 and it has the same cover. The dvd copy looks as though it was recorded off of German television because it has what seems to be Deutch subtitles that you cannot take off, but it is still well worth the price of admission.

i hope that it will be available on dvd because WHITE DOG is a masterpiece!
the screenplay is powerful and clever,the acting is very good and the music is beautiful.

The DVD copy I got off Ebay has no subtitles, but I first bought one that did, and was Pee'd off. Mine came with the original cover art as well. I wish I remember the sellers name.

September 11, 2007. Amazon.com has this up at their website for pre-order. A reviewer said this version is a bootleg and Criterion is working on an official release.

Criterion confirmed in an email that they have a White Dog DVD in the works. No release date set, but it will be out in the very near future.
