Best Dog Acting EVER
I know it's probably just the editing but I still have to say, the dog actors were AMAZING!! I wonder how long it took them to get the close-ups. I mean how did they even GET IT in the first place. That scene before the dog attacks her co-worker / friend while they were acting, really, so damn expressive. Seeing who she is, instinct kicking in, and deciding to go through with it. And then during the training process there's the hatred that came out of fear, and also slowly learning to find peace. You can watch it without sound and still understand what's going on. Especially that last scene where he's shot, with his tongue hung out but totally confused. That's award-winning stuff. Most dog fights are filmed under the circumstances that they are really in fact, playing. But you can really tell that they are not having fun at all during the close-ups.
I know it sounds like I'm joking but I'm seriously not. Name other dog acting that can actually stand up to the dog acting quality of this film.
It's the one that says BAD *beep*
