Full moon over Paris!

I remember around the first time I saw this movie, about the time it came out, a scene where the inspector is investigating the validity of Labisse's accusation that Victor wasn't a man. I remember distinctly the inspector entering the dressing room with a close up and personal shot of someone's naked posterior in the foreground.

I have NEVER seen this scene again, since!

Does anyone else remember this scene, or am I just losing my marbles?

I don't think your memory is serving you well. I saw this film in original release in 1982 (and many,many times since) and I don't remember a "moon "shot being included in this scene. It would have been Preston's rear-end, so I assume some critical notice would have been made of that fact at the time (altho' he had done a nude & bathtub scene on stage in "Mack & Mabel").
