Shouldn't Dr. Thompson (black consultant) have said...

Thompson was SO clever and his testimony was written so well...until the judge chimed in. If Thompson was smart enough to disarm Concannon by pointing out they were BOTH paid to be there, shouldn't he have been able to disarm the judge by responding, "The negligence in this case involves the type of anesthesia administered, not the amount of time it took to restart Deborah Ann's heart"? Bad screenwriting at that point, I felt.

I noticed that too.

Dr. Thompson said, “They gave her the wrong anesthetic ... under the circumstances.” Just as the previous doctor slated to testify had said. The issue is never addressed again.
