Can you name any other movies where the title character
is not the main character? I can think of one example: in all versions of "The Three Musketeers", the main character, D'Artagnan, is not one of the titular Musketeers.

Er, "Chinatown" only takes place in Chinatown for a very short time in the whole movie. I know. Doesn't count. Sorry :)
But I'm pretty sure there must be quite a great deal of obscure B and Z exploitation movies with "fake" titles like "Revenge/Return/Son of" "..." Vs "..." (insert your favorite monster's names here ;-)) in which the characters only show up for a few minutes or don't even appear at all !
And don't forget Bond movies with the bad guy's name in the title like Dr No or Goldfinger !
This is an excellent topic. If I wanted to be cheeky I could mention BATMAN RETURNS, where he does indeed return... as a supporting player to the villains. There are movies like JAWS and THE TERMINATOR where the movie is named after the villain and not the main character.

are a few off the top of my head, and there's varying degree to which those suit your category.
Please do not make negative comments about a film YOU NEVER SAW. It makes you look stupid.
I wasn't actually thinking about the antagonist being in the title. I mean, you know right away just from looking at promos that the titular character from the movie "Alien" is not going to be a good guy.
I guess so far, "The Wizard of Oz" might be the best example of what I was thinking of.
