Americans....


I have asked this same question on the Suspiria board also. I've noticed that most of the protagonist in the "The Three Mother" films are American. I'm just curious, why this is. Are we supposed to be more "headstrong"? More "nosey"? Defiant? Or does he just like seeing us in danger? :)

my guess is that he wanted his movies to appeal to a north american audience since he is not as well known as he is in italy.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just about marketing to U.S. audiences.

Yeah he seems to cast at least one name star(though not always american)in all his films. Tony Musante, Karl Malden, David Hemmings etc.. all the way up to oscar winning Adrien Brody in Gaillo.
