The channel was KERA 13, I think.
I was very young and watched everything randomly and hardly remembered anything I watched, but "The Snowman" stuck with me, especially the music to "Walking in the Air."
Since it was years ago, I was saddened that I would never see it again since I didn't know the title.
Then years later, I was visiting a movie website for "the greatest tearjerkers in film history" :http://filmsite.org/tearjerkers25.html and saw pictures and read about the scene where the boy runs outside and sees nothing left of the snowman except the scarf that he put on him. I saw that the title was "The Snowman" and chuckled that I've been agonizing myself for so many years for a simple title.
It is a great movie and brings back great memories of the silent movies (which I still watch) I just hope that I get to see it again.
