I love this movie so much and I just don't seem to get enough of it. I first saw it when I was in 1st grade and I was in aww. After seeing it, I wanted to get the movie, and search everywhere but couldn't find it. By the time I was in f4th grade I finally found it and bought it and instantly watched it when I got it.

I remember waking up one morning around the holidays, and seeing an animated movie on so I lay in bed and watched it. I loved it!! I checked the T.V. guide and found that it was "The Snowman".
I didn't get to see the first half, and I never saw it re-played anywhere.
Where did you find a copy??
I remember when I was really little I saw a woman had it in tucked in the pouch on her baby's stroller in the library...and when she wasn't looking I took it and got my mum to check it out for me.

shareIt was released the year I was born. I don't remember when I first saw it, but it is one of my earliest television memories. As I grew up in England, it would air most Christmas'. It is really one of those films that stays with you forever, and "Walking in the Air" is unforgettable. By the way, check out the song of the same name by Finnish group Nightwish. Very good.
