I just watched this for the first time in absolute years and it took me right back to being 5 years old and sitting with my grandad on christmas eve watching it! There is something about it, it is truely magical!

The song is beautiful as is the animation (something i can only appreciate now) It can make you laugh and cry.

Such a fantastic film, especially for one that is 26 minutes long- whereas most animations now are so long winded and dont leave me with the same bubly feeling that i get from watching this!

It reminds me of childhood too, sitting there when I was five or six years old and praying for a white Christmas so I could build a magical snowman as well! It's one of those few shows that will never date and will never get old no matter how many times you watch it.

The music makes me remember spending Christmas with my family (my Grandad especially) and that always make me cry because he's the only one not here. Also when I was little I confused old men with my Grandad a lot so I thought he was Raymond Briggs at the start of the film. We never forget to watch it on Christmas Day but it's not the same without him :*(
