In your opinion, Tonari no Totoro or The Snowman?

Which is more pleasing to you?

Very, VERY difficult question. Totoro I first watched as an adult, and it just captivated me, made me forget everything wrong with daily life. Snowman I watched mostly as a child, and it had that effect films like these do on children. If I had to choose one, I'd go with Totoro, but both are masterpieces from two different cultures.

I feel like it wouldn't even be right to compare those two. I whole-heartedly agree that they are both masterpieces from two different cultures and masters of art and music. The Snowman's fluidity and music is just gorgeous but Totoro is gorgeous in detail and music as well, like practically any Hayao Miyazaki film. Tough call.

Well My Neighbor Totoro is my all time favorite film... so the vote goes to Totoro.
BUT, The Snowman makes my top ten.

As much as I find Totoro a beautiful film, 'The Snowman' will always hold a special place in my heart. It is an integral part of Christmas.

Very difficult question. Both are masterpieces in my view, but I have to go with The Snowman.

Only weeaboos would say Totoro. My Neighbour Totoro isn't even the best Ghibli film.

Not a fair comparison as this is a short and the other is a full-length film.
