If somebody could go to amazon.com, type in "Shoot the Moon" under the DVD category, and please tell me what this is that's going to released on October 17th, I'd really appreciate it! :)

No luck. It's just the collected videos of some band called "Face To Face". You get my hopes up there for a minute.

There should be a petition. Anyone made a petition?

Petitions don't get you anywhere when it comes to things like this. If the studio ain't wanna release, they just won't.

"Melrose Place" season 1 is going to be released in November of this year, and petitions for its release on DVD have gone back years. I doubt highly that they made the difference.

You can find this and many other films at cinemacom.com. Go to the 3000+ listings and look under 1982. Good deals.

Read on one of the DVD forums that this is set for a 11/6/07 release date. I was just trying to reference the news item, but I visit so many sites that I can't seem to find it now. . .It is listed at Amazon as a pre-order for that date.

I've wanted to see this again for a long time.

It's also part of "Leading Ladies Collection Vol. 2 (I'll Cry Tomorrow/Shoot the Moon/Rich and Famous/ Up the Down Staircase/A Big Hand for the Little Lady)" which Amazon is pre-selling for $37.39, a great price for 5 DVDs.
