Could have Mrs. Brisby risked it?

Even though Mr. Ages told Mrs. Brisby Timmy couldn't go outside, she could have taken him out if she had no other option at the time but to move away? Doctors are always telling their patients that they shouldn't do certain things during their illnesses, but is air really all that bad for people for pneumonia? Mrs. Brisby could have just wrapped Timmy up tight in a blanket or thrown a hood over his head. After all, Mr. Ages was being a little rude to Mrs. Brisby. She tells him moving day is near and he doesn't give a *beep*

This is what Mrs. B actually does in the original novel...she bundles Timmy up and takes her family outside as the rats come to move their house (no "magic" involved). The book is quite different from the movie.

The problem was not so much taking him outside, but that the nights spent in their summer house would have done him in, as it was often still very damp and cold during the first few weeks.
