My grandpa, Lester Allen, was one of the NIMH scientists. Haha so I laugh and tease him because my grandpa is technically a Disney villain.

not 'everyone' who posts on IMDb has something
important or even nice to say, so- they say
something they think will be memorable instead-
even at the cost of common civility. Those are

On the subject of your grandfather:
I agree it is pretty cool to know he was part
of something pretty neat (Disney or not). The
Secret of NIMH is an impressive family memory
for you both that has been... and will continue
to be- enjoyed by many fans!
Enjoy taking pride in what your grandfather did.
Big or small part- most people can only post
'about' a movie... not that their grandfather
(or any family member for that matter) had a
small part in it!

Hmm, that's odd... because no where in the first film does a NIMH scientist EVER have a line of dialogue.
You're grandpa might just be lying to you.
That is of course unless he did a performance in the second film... if so, you should not be proud of that at all.

shareFrom what I gathered, and as other posters have stated, that his/her grandfather was one of the REAL scientists of NIMH, not one of the voice actors for the cartoon versions of the NIMH scientists.
So don't try to bash someone's credibility by calling their grandfather a liar, especially since you didn't even read the post correctly. It is kinda rude. =)
