Original Aspect Ratio / Best Version To Buy?

Hello,

I was wondering what the original aspect ratio of this film is?

And which is the best version to buy? I've heard it was filmed in fullscreen? So is the Blu-ray not a good choice because the widescreen was forced?

There was the:

1998 DVD.
2007 2-Disc DVD.
2011 Blu-ray

The original aspect ratio is 1.85 : 1, according to imdb. So with the widescreen editions you are getting the correct picture. I'd suggest either the 2007 2-disc (which I have) or the new Blu-ray.

I feel cranky and pubescent today, and I don't know why. I'm going to take it out on people I like.
